TLG Trade Policy Center

Authenticity Policy

We do not allow counterfeit, replica, imitation, or otherwise misleading products on TLG Trade. Sellers must list genuine goods and describe them honestly.

1. What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to every listing on TLG Trade where a seller names, references, or implies a brand, manufacturer, or original product source. It is designed to protect customers, brands, and sellers who follow the rules.

2. Prohibited Products and Claims

We do not allow products or listings that try to pass off non-genuine goods as authentic. That includes, but is not limited to:

  • Counterfeit or fake products.
  • Replica, imitation, clone, mirror image, faux, or knock-off items.
  • Listings that misuse logos, brand names, or images to suggest a product is genuine when it is not.
  • Products that mimic brand features in a way that misleads buyers about origin or authorization.

3. Seller Responsibilities

Sellers must only list items they are authorized to sell and must describe every item accurately. If a product is pre-owned, refurbished, open-box, or has any non-original parts, that must be disclosed clearly before purchase.

  • Use the correct brand and model name.
  • State the condition honestly.
  • Do not use brand names in a misleading way.
  • Do not upload stock images that hide the real product condition.

4. Enforcement

If a listing appears to be counterfeit or otherwise misleading, TLG Trade may remove the listing, restrict the seller account, request supporting evidence, or take additional action where necessary. Sellers may also be asked to provide invoices, authorization letters, serial numbers, or other proof of authenticity.

5. Buyer Reporting

If you believe a listing is fake, misleading, or violates a brand’s rights, please contact support@tlgtrade.com with the product link, screenshots, and any details that help us investigate quickly.

6. Related Policies

Authenticity concerns are reviewed together with our product listing rules, seller requirements, and marketplace enforcement procedures. Where necessary, items may also be reviewed under the Return & Refund Policy if a buyer received a product that is not as described.
